New and reconditioned TG and PG Series governors are in stock and ready for delivery to you. We also engineer and manufacture custom-designed adapter kits for the conversion of mechanical governors to hydraulic and/or electronic governors.
We overhaul and rebuild governors, usually in less than 24 hours. All of our rebuilt governors are built to manufacturer's specifications, using OEM parts. You always have the option to take advantage of our governor trade-in and exchange programs.
Revak quality control assures that when your new governor is placed into service, or when your rebuilt governor is returned to service, the result will be dependable operation and speed control.
TG Series Hydraulic Governors

The TG Governors are self-contained mechanical-hydraulic speed droop governors for use on small steam turbines where isochronous (constant speed) operation is not required.

PG and PGPL Series Hydraulic Governors

PG dial and lever governors feature lever or dial speed adjustment, a spring-driven, oil-damped ballhead which filters frequency torsional vibrations, an optional speed adjusting motor, electric, oil, water, or pneumatic shutdown, optional droop, and have a wide speed range available.
The PGPL Governor features isochronous control, 12 to 58 Ft.-Lb. output capacities, remote power servos, pneumatic or manual speed setting, rotary or linear output, a self-contained sump, and is pressure compensated.

UG Series Hydraulic Governors

The UG-5.7, UG-8, and UG-12.8 Governors are mechanical-hydraulic governors for controlling diesel, gas or dual-fuel engines, or steam turbines. The governor provides extremely reliable speed control throughout the drive speed and temperature rang.
This proven design has been the industry standard for nearly 50 years. Worldwide acceptance provides easy service in most engine and governor shops. The UG governor-drive configuration is the the worldwide standard for many engine manufacturers.
The UG-40 Governor is used for speed or load control of larger dual-fuel, diesel, or gas engines or steam turbines with governor-drive speed ranges of 350 RPM to 1050 RPM or 550 RPM to 1300 RPM.
Governors with lever speed settings are primarily used for propulsion engines. Dial or motor speed setting is primarily used for power-generation installations. |
