Due to changes in steam technology, today’s turbines are subjected to extremely high steam temperatures and inlet pressures. At the same time, most single-stage and multi-stage turbines don’t have bearing lubrication systems to deal with these extremes. The result is that bearing life is short and bearing / bearing-housings repair and replacement is frequent. So maintenance costs are high, much too high.

The Revak Series VII Lube Oil System supplies cooled, continuous lubrication for Turbine bearings, resulting in vastly increased Bearing and Shaft life, decreased maintenance and far better unit reliability.

Inadequate lube oil volumes and pressures, combined with “cooked” lube oil cause the damage, and cause it quickly. The Revak Series VII Lube Oil Pump System solves these lubrication problems by providing continuous, cooled lubricant at adequate pressure in adequate volume.

The Revak Series VII Lube Oil System uses a shaft-driven oil pump to supply cooled, continuous lubrication for turbine bearings, resulting in vastly increased bearing and shaft life, decreased maintenance and far better unit reliability. It mounts between the turbine thrust end and the TG Series governor. No new mounting holes or modification to the governor are required. It is compact and can be easily retrofitted to existing turbines in the field. The Series VII Lube Oil System includes the pump, reservoir tank, filter, gauge, cooler and piping fittings.
