Revak has been instrumental in the management of all of application of used combustion turbines to the growing merchant power generation business. We have assisted in the location and in-depth inspection of generation sets. This service has provided our customers with the technical knowledge to make informed business decisions on both the acquisition of equipment and the direct application of this equipment to the prospective project. In addition to the inspection reports that have detailed the condition of the units as they sit, Revak has provided the necessary engineering, technical and economic input to allow for like-new performance. New controls are specified along with the necessary systems to address environmental compliance requirements. Revak is also prepared to manage the removal, match marking, packing, inland and transocean shipping, and temporary storage of components that are required for incorporation into the new project application.

The above experience has been conducted on equipment acquisitions for several customers including Koch Industries, NRG, and the municipal utilities. Revak’s scope of supply of services also included the installation of the equipment, startup and the troubleshooting of the integrated system for assurance of equipment reliability in the new operating environment.
